A Sebastian man is in custody, charged with the murder of his aunt and uncle in their home in Gordan, Georgia. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), the double homicide occurred on Monday.

Police in Georgia found 70-year-old Pamela Ann Williams and 74-year-old Ricky Howard Williams dead in their home and asked the GBI for help.

The investigation identified 34-year-old Joran Kyle Lemaster as a suspect in the homicide case. The GBI said Lemaster was recently living with his aunt and uncle.

A Sebastian Police Department dispatcher quickly began to look further into Lemaster’s connection to Sebastian.  This inquiry resulted in Lemaster having ties to a residence located in the 1400 block of Stonecrop Street.  It was at this time responding officers located the victim’s vehicle parked across the street from the identified location.

Sebastian Police Department’s Special Response Team, which included a member of Vero Beach Police Department, and a member Indian River Shores Public Safety Department were called out to assist and quickly responded to the location where Lemaster was ultimately located inside the victim’s vehicle.

Lemaster has been sent back to Georgia and is booked into the Wilkinson County Jail.

“Locating this dangerous individual would not have been possible without the desire of the members of this Agency to go above and beyond for the safety of our citizens. I am extremely proud of the teamwork displayed and hope the family of the victims can find closure to this horrific incident,” Sebastian Police Chief Daniel Acosta said.
