There’s been a string of vehicle burglaries in Sebastian. Police are warning people not to keep their valuables in their vehicles and to lock their doors.

“We have had car burglaries with guns taken,” Captain Timothy Wood told Sebastian Daily. “The suspects typically smash out the window,” Wood added.

“Smash and grabs” have also been reported at local gyms in Sebastian.

Purses, wallets, and electronics should be kept out of view. Or better yet, never leave valuables in your vehicles.
