VERO BEACH – A 43-year-old man was arrested on charges of Unnatural and Lascivious Act in Vero Beach after deputies responded to a sexual battery call, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim told deputies that Daniel Mark Irwin began to act “creepy” after he pulled a chair alongside her at a home in Vero Beach beach.

“Victim stated he began acting creepy and trying to rub on her. At one point the defendant slid his hand between her legs,” the deputy said.

The victim asked Irwin to stop and leave her alone, at which time he did.

However, Irwin began singing to the victim and without her consent or knowledge, grabbed her by the face forcibly and kissed her on the mouth.

The victim then fled the home to a neighbor along with three witnesses where they called law enforcement.

Irwin told deputies he only grabbed the victim by the thigh.

Deputies placed Irwin under arrest in Vero Beach and transported him to the Indian River County Jail where he was charged with Unnatural and Lascivious Act.
