The West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System (WPBVAHCS) is hosting a Veteran Town Hall & Resource Fair on Tuesday, February 6, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., featuring an Executive Town Hall session from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This event will be held at the Indian River State College Mueller Campus, Richardson Center, located at 6155 College Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32966.

The Town Hall event will offer a range of services, including VA Healthcare Enrollment, assistance from FDVA Claim Examiners, Toxic Exposure Screening, among others. It is a unique opportunity for veterans to access multiple services in one location.

The event is particularly significant in light of the recent PACT Act, which extends VA health care and benefits to veterans affected by burn pits and other toxic substances from the Vietnam War, Gulf War era, or post 9/11.

Veterans and their families are encouraged to attend this event, which is organized in collaboration with the Veterans Council of Indian River County, various Veteran Service Organizations, and clinical teams. It’s an opportunity to learn about what WPBVAHCS offers, initiate the claims process, undergo screenings, and understand how to utilize these benefits.
