VERO BEACH – There are several movies in Vero Beach that are opening at Majestic 11 and AMC Indian River 24. This is a good week to visit a movie theater.

The Founder: Michael Keaton plays Ray Kroc as a salesman who turned McDonald’s into the biggest restaurant business in the world. “The Founder” is rated PG-13.
The Resurrection of Gavin Stone: A former child star pretends to be a Christian to become Jesus in the church’s annual Passion Play. “The Resurrection of Gavin Stone” is rated PG-13.
Split: Three girls are kidnapped in broad daylight by their captor Kevin (James McAvoy). He locks them in a windowless room and proceeds to frighten and baffle them. It is revealed that Kevin exhibits 23 alternate personalities, and in order to escape, his captives must convince one of the personalities within him to set them free. “Split” is rated PG-13.
XXX: Return of Xander Cage: Xander Cage (Vin Diesel) is back as he secretly returns to action for a new assignment with his handler Augustus Gibbons. Together, they must race against time to recover a sinister weapon known as Pandora’s Box. “XXX: Return of Xander Cage” is rated PG-13.
