On Saturday, the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office held a Teen Driver Challenge class at the Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex. All participants learned new skills to make them safer and more confident drivers.

The Teen Driver Challenge is a defensive driving program that covers various topics, including:

The Teen Driver Challenge class is open to participants who are 15 to 19 years old, with a learner’s permit, and have at least six months of driving experience.
