Water boil notice issued for Snug Harbor in Micco.

MICCO – A boil water notice has been issued Tuesday for the Snug Harbor in Micco, a community just north of Barefoot Bay, according to Brevard County Emergency Management.

A water break happened on Bannock Court in Snug Harbor, causing the water to be turned off for three to five hours while the repair is done, officials told Sebastian Daily.

The notice applies to nearly all homes in Snug Harbor, except for Montauk Avenue and Boxelder Drive.

Brevard County Utilities advises that once service is restored, all water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or washing dishes will need to be boiled as a precautionary.

Officials say a boil of one minute is sufficient. Bottled water may also be used as an alternative.

A separate boil water notice for Barefoot Bay was canceled earlier Tuesday morning.
