RAD Women Physical Defense Classes

RAD Women Physical Defense Classes

The Sebastian Police Department will be having its 2022 Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) Women’s physical defense classes May 16th – 19th, from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Sebastian Charter Junior High School.

The course is 12 hours total and includes lectures, discussions, and training in practical physical defense techniques suitable for women of all ages and abilities.

Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.)

Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) is an internationally recognized program of techniques and realistic self-defense tactics for women. The comprehensive course begins with risk reduction, awareness, prevention, and risk avoidance that progresses to basic hands-on defense training.

Each participant will receive a workbook/reference manual that outlines the Physical Defense Program for continuous personal growth and reference. In addition, an instructor-signed student manual is the key to the free lifetime return and practice policy for R.A.D. graduates.

Unfortunately, there are only 12 spots available, so make sure you get signed up early. Ages 13 and up are welcome. However, minors must be accompanied by their legal guardian.
