Sebastian Home Depot Donates $1,000 to Team Success Enterprises to Help Family

Home Depot presents check to Team Success Enterprises.

On Friday, December 18, 2021, the Home Depot in Sebastian presented a check to Team Success Enterprises. The local non-profit will use the money to help a local family in need and others who need a hand up this holiday season.

“The Sebastian Police Department informed us about a family who lost their father unexpectedly. They have two children, so we’re using funds to buy them Christmas gifts. Any funds left over will be to help other families in the north county area,” Team Success Enterprises Co-Founder and President Michael C. Marsh told Sebastian Daily.

Last week, patrol officers reached out to the police department’s C.O.P.E. unit (Community Oriented Policing Endeavor Unit) about the family. They informed them about the two small children, ages 5 and 8, who lost their father unexpectedly. Their mother is struggling financially to pay her bills and provide Christmas gifts for the children.

“That is when I immediately reached out to Michael Marsh for assistance to be able to help these kids have at least a few gifts to open on Christmas morning. So it all kind of came together, and now we will be able to bring these children some presents on Christmas morning,” Sebastian Police Sergeant Todd Finnegan told Sebastian Daily.

Officer Donald Hart and Sergeant Finnegan visited the mother on Thursday. The family is still grieving, but the police department hopes to bring them some Christmas cheer during this tragic time in their lives.
