Beyond his commitment to the Sebastian Police Department, Anthony Tomasi also invests significant effort into the activities of the Knights of Columbus. Since joining Council #8009 in 2017, he swiftly progressed through the ranks, attaining his 4th degree, and in 2019, he became part of Assembly #2194.

Tomasi’s involvement with the Council has been robust and multifaceted. He has held the esteemed positions of Grand Knight and Deputy Grand Knight, and he now serves as a one-year trustee. His roles extend beyond these official capacities; he is the acting community director, the head of membership, the public relations director, and leads fundraising efforts for their Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Additionally, he is an active participant in the St. Williams Assembly Color Corps.

His leadership extends to coordinating community service initiatives, notably starting in 2019 with the annual toy collection that supports the “Shop with a Cop” initiative of the Sebastian Police Department. His efforts have also directed the Knights of Columbus to become benefactors of the Sebastian Little League and to offer temporary mobility solutions, like chair ramps and grab bars, to residents in need.

Over the summer, Tomasi was pivotal in rallying volunteers and dedicating countless hours to aid a local family requiring home repairs and yard upkeep after a family member’s extended hospital stay.

Thank you, Lt. Anthony Tomasi, for your dedication to our community!
