The Indian River County North County Aquatic Center (NCAC), located on 9450 County Road 512 in Sebastian, will be closed beginning April 15, 2022, for approximately one month.
“The purpose of the closure is for the installation of a new pool liner and other facility improvements which will include a water heater replacement, signage repair, extensive cleaning, repainting, and landscape improvements,” Kaitlin Childers, Marketing and Event Coordinator, said in a statement.

In an effort to accommodate increased demand of the Gifford Aquatic Center during the closure, hours have been extended as follows (beginning April 19):
- Monday 6:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Tuesday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Wednesday 6:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Thursday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Friday 6:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Saturday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Sunday 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
All NCAC pool passes will be accepted at the Gifford Aquatic Center located at 4895 43rd Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32967, approximately 12 miles south of NCAC.
