Mel Fisher’s Treasures Museum Launches New Kids Treasure Game

New Kids Treasure Game has been unveiled at Mel Fisher's Treasures Museum in Sebastian, Florida.

The Mel Fisher’s Treasures Museum has launched a new Kids Treasure Game in Sebastian, Florida.

The game is recommended for kids ages 6-12 OR any kid at heart that wants to give it a go. It’s a great game to test your skills at their new treasure hunt.

“My grandfather was a kid at heart himself and always made everything fun, so we’re just carrying on the tradition here. The most inspirational thing to me is seeing kids come through his museum with enthusiasm about the history of the shipwrecks and excitement about the artifacts,” Nichole Johanson told Sebastian Daily.

Participants will be rewarded in the gift shop after their treasure hunt is completed.

This treasure hunt game will give children the opportunity to not only test their knowledge but to have a little fun and adventure when they go to the museum.

“Perhaps it could even influence a child to one day become a treasure hunter themselves, or an archeologist, a marine biologist, or even a historian,” Johanson told Sebastian Daily.

As Mel always said… “Today’s the Day!”

Mel Fisher opened the permanent Sebastian museum in December of 1992. The world-famous treasure hunter spent seven years successfully salvaging the 1715 Fleet, a fleet of sunken treasure-laden ships, which sank off the coastline.

Mel Fisher’s Treasures Museum is located at 1322 U.S. Highway 1 in Sebastian. For more info, call 772-589-9875.
