Reagan Singer of Sebastian, Florida, won the coveted Sportsmanship award on June 27, 2020 at “Daddy’s Ski Camp.”
Sportsmanship is commonly known as the highest award given by the American Kneeboard Association. Reagan is a member of the Association, as well as the Skionee Board Team, host of “Daddy’s Ski Camp,” a Jr. Development Kneeboard Clinic.
Reagan shared the win with her cousin, Miss Kalyn Rohner, from Orange City, Florida. Together they worked tiredly helping to set up camp activities and encouraging the campers to do their best on and off the water.
Payne DuVall, Sebring, Florida won 1st place for the best trick preformed at the kneeboard clinic. Athletes attend the camp to learn basic competitive skills that enable them to further explore the competitive world of kneeboarding, “A Fundamental of All Waterskiing.” Landon Weir, Okeechobee, won 1st place for the coveted “Best Crash” award, commonly stated as, ” If you don’t love to learn to crash, you’ll never fly high and hit the double up.”
Pictures taken on camp day are by Skionee staff, parents, family, and friends are available on the club’s website to be voted on for the grand prize, an Obrien Ricochet Kneeboard.
Payne achieved 1st place in the competition with a grand total of 1773 votes. Reagan Singer came in second with a close score of 1721. Family and friends were allowed to vote twice a day for a total of 14 days.

Daddy’s Ski Camp is held annually in the month of June, as well as additional clinics and competitive events held on Red Water Lake, Lake Placid, Florida.
