SEBASTIAN – Earl’s Hideaway Lounge has created a Hurricane Harvey Relief drop-off location for residents to donate.

There are collection boxes for Hurricane Harvey Relief on the stage at Earl’s Hideaway Lounge at 1405 Indian River Drive in Sebastian for anyone wanting to donate.

“We are primarily looking for diapers, baby food, baby formula, pet food or any kind and any medical supplies,” Franni Southern of Earl’s Hideaway Lounge told Sebastian Daily. “Lots of anti-bacterial creams, rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, bleach, bandages, band-aids, and non-perishable food items.”

The Tiki yard and stage will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. for anyone wanting to donate these supplies.

During the times when the bands are on the stage, the collection boxes will be on the stage side. They will be clearly marked. Also, there will be a large box just inside the south side doors in case of rain or overflow. The large boxes are being donated by Sebastian Self Storage.

The Salvation Army will then transport these items to Texas for Hurricane Harvey victims.

“The Red Cross and the Salvation Army are primarily looking for gift cards and funds at this time,” Franni said. “We will also accept checks and/or cash for them on Sunday afternoon, and you can sign our Hurricane Help cards.”

All checks should be made payable to the American Red Cross or the Salvation Army with “Help Hurricane Harvey” in the memo. Earl’s Hideaway Lounge in Sebastian will then send them to the Red Cross and/or Salvation Army offices in Vero Beach.
