HALO announces new Enrichment Center in Sebastian, Florida.

On February 26, 2020, at 1:30 pm, H.A.L.O. No-Kill Rescue will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on the site of H.A.L.O.’s future Enrichment Center.

As a dual purpose facility, the Enrichment Center will encapsulate a reduced cost veterinary clinic as well as a training facility dedicated to specialized and individual training.

The clinic will provide low cost services, including spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchipping to the low/fixed income residents of Indian River County.

The training facility will provide much needed space for trainers and volunteers to implement rehabilitative programs needed for companion animals who require a little more love, trust and guidance before being adopted out. It will also serve as a landing area for the pets H.A.L.O. rescues from areas devastated by natural disasters.

To celebrate the start of this project, H.A.L.O. will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony where guests can view the property and plans for the building. There will also be a short Q&A session after the ribbon cutting so attendees can ask questions about the Enrichment Center.

In conjunction with the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, H.A.L.O. is hosting an Open House for Impact 100 and their members. In 2019, H.A.L.O was awarded a $100,000 grant from Impact 100 to be used towards the Low Cost Clinic.

Location: 708 Jackson Street in Sebastian, FL 32958. For more information, call 772-589-7297.

The event is invitation only and light refreshments will be served.
