H.A.L.O.’S “Artisans at the Mall” Expands to Capacity

Artisans at the Mall

VERO BEACH – On Saturday, June 2nd, the Indian River Mall will be bustling with activity!

A record number of vendors (over 40+) will be participating at this family-oriented event. These are artisans, all showcasing their handmade/handcrafted items to the community.

Vendors are traveling from as far north as Satellite Beach and as far south as Boynton Beach to participate! This is a welcome addition to the local vendors who participate monthly.

Lots of unique gift ideas will be available just in time for Father’s Day.

A wide array of donated raffle items will be on display at the Raffle Donation Station situated by the fountain area. It just takes one lucky ticket to be a winner! Drawings are held at 4 p.m. and you do not need to be present to win.

The Indian River rock painting group will also have a beautiful assortment of “giveaway” items available with a donation to support the efforts of
H.A.L.O. Animal Rescue. Stop by and chat with the artists!

There will be kittens to adopt! Be sure to stop by and visit all the kittens and cats waiting to find their fur-ever home. You can also inquire about fostering.

Also at this event, H.A.L.O. is partnering with PAWS Meals on Wheels Pet Food Bank for a cat food drive. There is an extreme shortage of cat food at the pantry which goes to assist seniors struggling financially to feed their cat and keep in their home.

Research touts the physical and mental boost animals provide to humans, so this is a very important issue for the community.

Although any donation is greatly appreciated, Friskies and Purina canned or dry cat food is recommended. Just drop off any donation at the H.A.L.O. Adoption Center while you are at the event!

H.A.L.O. is Indian River County’s ONLY no-kill rescue and adoption center. Each year H.A.L.O. saves over 2,000 dogs and cats, which gives them the distinction of having the county’s highest adoption rate.

“Artisans at the Mall” Arts & Crafts Event is Saturday, June 2nd from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Be sure to wear your walking shoes…as there is much to see!
