The Environmental Learning Center (ELC) invites guests to join yoga instructor Elise in their butterfly garden for a relaxing meditation session each 4th Sunday of every month from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Pre-registration is required 24 hours in advance.
The one-hour walking meditation session is excellent for beginners. It’s all about being aware of your body’s movement and being present in the moment. Attendees will learn to be attuned to nature through their five senses in the peaceful Butterfly Garden.

Yoga Instructor Elise
Yoga Instructor Elise is the founder of Living Yoga with Elise studio in Vero Beach. She is a certified Kripalu Yoga instructor with thousands of hours of teaching experience. Elise makes it fun, user-friendly, and relevant to our health and well-being.

Environmental Learning Center
The Environmental Learning Center was founded by a group of environmentally conscious pioneers from the Pelican Island Audubon Society in 1988. Through donors, community, members, board, staff, and volunteers, they built their nature learning and stewardship programs and evolved their mission to bring nature to all.
The founder’s mission was to preserve the unspoiled 64-acre Indian River Lagoon island and create a place to lead educational programs and EcoAdventures to teach their visitors about the rich biodiversity of our Indian River Lagoon and the importance of its heritage, preservation, and continued legacy in our community and our world.
