Sebastian Police Department will have its Citizens’ Police Academy February 17, 2022 – May 5, 2022, on Thursday nights from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Sebastian Police Department.
Participants who complete the program will receive a certificate of completion at the Citizens Police Academy Graduation.
The Citizens Police Academy will provide hands-on interactive training in a comfortable environment on topics that include:
- Patrol Operations
- Police K-9
- Community Policing
- Crime Prevention
- Crime Scene & Evidence
- Criminal Investigations
- Special Response Team (SRT)
- Marine Patrol
- and more
They can only support 20 persons per class, so make sure you apply as soon as possible. The deadline to apply is Friday, January 28, 2022,
Applications can be picked up at the Sebastian Police Department, located at 1201 Main Street, during regular business hours: Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. The 20 applicants will be chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis.
