Multiple residents have contacted law enforcement about anti-Semitic flyers found at their homes in Micco and Sebastian, Florida.
“Found this on our driveway this morning on Indian River Drive,” a resident showed Sebastian Daily.
But there are other reports all over Indian River County in places like Vero Beach and Wabasso. Residents on the beach side also found the same literature in their driveways. Locals want to know who in the community is spreading what they call “hate speech” literature.
“All over the county. We are investigating,” Indian River County Sheriff Eric Flowers told Sebastian Daily.
Flowers said the Sebastian Police Department and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office had joined the investigation.
The anti-Semitic flyers contained conspiracy theories and were dropped off at multiple driveways in the area sometime Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.
Residents hope someone will have a video or photos from security cameras showing those involved.
However, other residents said it’s Freedom of Speech and compared the same hatred to religious organizations telling people they’re going to hell if they don’t attend church.
But overall, most residents are tired of the division from politics and now anti-Semitic brochures left on driveways about Jewish-owned media and businesses.
There are also reports of anti-Semitic literature found at homes throughout the country.
Flowers told Sebastian Daily that a detective of an FBI-task force is currently investigating the sources of the anti-Semitic flyers.
