What is Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC)?

Inflammatory Breast Cancer is a rare but fatal form of breast cancer that accounts for 2-6% of all breast cancers. The 5-year overall survival rate is 40%, compared to near 90% for all types of breast cancer combined. Unfortunately, IBC can not be detected until stage III, so more research is needed for this aggressive breast cancer.

The IBC Network has funded more than seven major IBC research projects with these hunts in the last few years. All proceeds collected will directly support IBC research.
