Last week, we sent out a survey to all of our Sebastian Daily newsletter subscribers on different days, which we do from time to time to focus on areas that may need improving with our news.
The newsletter reached 18,765 people, and we are excited to learn that 94% of our readers trust us for news and information. Our newsletter has been a great way to communicate directly with our readers.
The survey questions also gave us insight into how well we’re doing in Sebastian and what we need to improve in the future. While the negative feedback was only 6%, they are still essential to us, and we will accept their constructive criticism to help us improve.

The results show that 85% of our readers do not believe we are biased. Based on most of the feedback about this question, we think many people are reading our Editorial/Opinion columns and believing they are regular news articles. We separate these articles by putting a bold Editorial/Opinion statement at the beginning of the content.
We are pleased and humbled to learn that 94% trust our news and information. We believe this was the most critical question in the survey.
And 96% believe that Andy Hodges is doing a great job. Thank you, as I am grateful. We work very hard, and it’s always nice to know when we’re doing a great job.
Most people also wrote in the comments box we provided in the survey, asking us to do more reviews and videos. We plan to add more to our YouTube channel, as it’s still growing very fast.
