4 confirmed coronavirus cases in Florida

Florida now has 4 positive #COVID19 cases.

The latest case is one adult resident of Santa Rosa County in Florida.

The individual is isolated and being appropriately cared for.

Everyone should remain calm and practice preventative measures to reduced their risk.

“You’ve likely heard about the Coronavirus in the news. While the immediate health risk remains low to Americans and there isn’t a vaccine yet, there are still ways that you can help prevent the spread of this virus,” the Florida Department of Health said in a statement.

To prevent the spread of this illness or other illnesses, including the flu:

  1. Wash your hands often with soap and water,
  2. Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze,
  3. Stay home when you’re sick, and
  4. See your doctor if you think you’re ill.
