Treasure Coast Waterway Cleanup

Treasure Coast Waterway Cleanup

The 14th Annual Treasure Coast Waterway Cleanup Week will be Saturday, July 17, 2021, through Sunday, July 25, 2021. Participants can help virtually through the week or in-person on Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 8:00 am – 12:30 pm.

The Treasure Coast Waterway Cleanup will be cleaning up 125 miles of waterways in Indian River, Martin, and St. Lucie Counties.

Since 2008, they have engaged more than 11,240 volunteers and more than 3,085 boats to remove over 91.5 tons of trash from the waters of the Treasure Coast.

Volunteers who register before July 20, 2021, will receive an event t-shirt, and watercraft will receive a commemorative burgee to fly that indicates that you are part of the event.

Indian River Clean-up Locations: Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 8:00 am – 12:30 pm.

Everyone is welcome to participate. Although boaters of all types are needed, it is not required that you have a boat. There are many sites for walkers, and they will need assistance at check-in and disposal sites.

Students

The clean-up is a great way for students to achieve some of those precious community service hours this summer!
