It used to be a popular grocery store in Sebastian, then an appliance center, but now it’s about to be Strike Zone Entertainment Center at Chesser’s Gap shopping plaza.
A new form of entertainment will offer 14 bowling lanes, a laser tag arena, an arcade with more than 40 games, darts, a golf simulator, and televisions throughout the building.
Also, there will be a restaurant and bar with eight beers on tap, bottled and craft. Pool tables and a conference room for parties will be available.
The owners hope to fill a void that Sebastian has had for a long time in terms of entertainment. This will offer great entertainment for children and adults.
There are groups in Barefoot Bay and Port St. Lucie already forming fall leagues for Strike Zone. The entertainment center will also offer multiple packages for birthday parties and fundraisers.
The facility has hired off-duty police personnel to work on busier nights to make sure everyone can have a great time without any incidents.
Strike Zone is going all out and Sebastian residents can’t wait. For children, there isn’t anything for them to do here except drive to the Indian River Mall or go to a movie theater in Vero Beach.
The owners spent nearly $3 million to complete the entertainment center, but they believe it’s a great investment. Opening day will be sometime this month.
The Strike Zone Entertainment Center in Sebastian is located inside Chesser’s Gap shopping plaza at 730 S. Fleming Street. It’s right behind the Bank of America on CR 512.
