SEBASTIAN – We’ve seen a lot of changes going on in Sebastian this month, including three lots being cleared to make room for three more businesses.
With construction happening so fast, many people have asked about them. Some Sebastian residents have joked that it’s another auto part store.
First, there’s a lot being cleared next to the new AutoZone Store near Burger King. This appears to be a new self-service storage facility, according to rumors.
Second, there’s been a lot of talk about the lot on U.S. 1, across the street from the Ay! Jalisco’s Mexican Restaurant near the entrance to Walmart. It’s been rumored that the Dollar Tree is moving out there.
Dollar Tree is currently in the plaza nearby between Mattress Firm and the Las Palmas Cuban Restaurant.
Third, and farther north of Sebastian in Roseland on U.S. Highway, another lot is being cleared next to the Warrior Pawn shop. We’ve been told that this will be a new kidney dialysis center.
Sebastian, Florida is growing rapidly this year, but some residents worry that it’s happening too fast. More people are moving to our small quiet town, and that could mean a lot of change.
