Sebastian’s original, award-winning craft brewery recently added a signature tap called ‘Folk Slinger (ESB)’ in honor of local celebrity Arlo Guthrie.

A suggestion from Arlo’s wife Marti inspired owner/operator Pete Anderson to create the brew. The Guthrie’s are frequent guests to Pareidolia and during a recent conversation Arlo mentioned the English style ale he came to love during his many visits to the British Isles – Thus “Folk Slinger” – Extra Special Bitter was created in Sebastian.

“It’s what I remember,” said Guthrie while sipping the amber ale. “And it’s really good! Pete has done a masterful job.”

Last Sunday at Pareidolia, Sebastian Daily was present with the Guthries for the launch of the latest beer offering. Named ‘Folk Slinger,’ this new brew is characterized by its smoothness, rich flavor profile, and refreshing quality.

Anderson characterized the Folk Singer English Bitter as a beer that’s moderate in body and crafted for enjoyable sipping. It leans heavily on malt flavors, comes with an alcohol content of 5.3%, and has an International Bitterness Unit (IBU) rating of 14.

Pareidolia Brewing Company is located at 712 Cleveland Street in Sebastian, Florida. For more information about the brewery, call 772-571-5693.
