The Indian River County School District has increased its state rankings, and while many other counties dropped their pre-pandemic district grades, IRC has maintained theirs.

These 10 IRC Schools increased their school grade from 2020-2021 to 2021-2022 

Schools that increased their ranks to an A

The Indian River County school district increased its state rankings in grade components: English Language Arts (ELA), ELA bottom quartile, math bottom quartile, science, social studies, and middle school acceleration.

English Language Arts Achievement: Improved from a state ranking of 30 (2018-2019) to 22 (2021-2022).

English Language Arts Bottom Quartile: Improved from a state ranking of 25 (2018-2019) to 13 (2021-2022).

Mathematics Bottom Quartile: Improved from a state ranking of 25 (2018-2019) to 17 (2021-2022).

Science Achievement: Improved from a state ranking of 37 (2018-2019) to 23 (2021-2022).

Social Studies Achievement:  Improved from a state ranking of 46 (2018-2019) to 39 (2021-2022).

Middle School Acceleration: Improved from a state ranking of 56 (2018-2019) to 21 (2021-2022).

The school district of Indian River County is one of two districts in the Treasure Coast that were able to maintain their pre-pandemic district grade. They actually increased in rankings from 38 to 22.
