VERO BEACH, Florida – A 47-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly intoxication after causing a scene at Waldo’s in Vero Beach.

Officers with the Vero Beach Police Department arrived at the scene and was told a woman wearing a black shirt and blue jeans was outside the restaurant causing a disturbance.

Rebekha Ward was seen outside the business and using profanity towards the public. When officers made contact with Ward, she attempted to grab the area of their crotch multiple times.

Officers then tried to assist Ward in getting a ride home, but she was uncooperative and still causing a disturbance, according to the report.

Ward refused to provide any information to police to assist in getting home. Officers observed multiple empty bottles of vodka in her purse, and her pants were soiled with urine.

As officers walked her to a patrol car, her pants fell to her ankles. She was transported to the Indian River Medical Center due to her level of intoxication. She was then transported to the Indian River County Jail.
