Police say that a man dressed as Freddy Krueger shot five people with a shotgun at a Halloween party early Sunday morning before fleeing the scene.
The shooting took place in Texas when two black males allegedly arrived at a Halloween party uninvited. San Antonio police said an argument inside the house erupted when the suspects were asked the leave.
One of the suspects dressed as Kruger, the character from “A Nightmare on Elm Street” movie, allegedly pulled out a shotgun and began to shoot at everyone just before 5 a.m. Sunday morning.
Cassie Nogueron, who lives right next door where the shots were fired, woke up her husband after hearing the gunshots.
“There was about five or six more after that,” said Nogueron. She saw people running to their cars, and running to the people who were injured. “My gut instinct was to see does anybody need help was everybody okay.”
Police said four men and one woman were shot.
The woman attempted to drive to a hospital but got into a vehicle accident on the way. She was then transported to University Hospital.
One male victim was rushed to Downtown Baptist Hospital and the other three males were transported to University Hospital.
Neighbors say the shooting makes it more of a mystery because the shooter was completely disguised.
Police are still searching for the suspects.
