Warmer temperatures coming for Sebastian, Vero Beach

SEBASTIAN, Florida – The cold temperatures we experienced in Sebastian and Vero Beach last week were near freezing, with a wind chill below freezing. But that’s about to change.

For Monday, there’s a 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 75. East southeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Monday night will have the same chance of rain with a low near 63 degrees. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday will be warmer with a high near 78. It will be mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms.

“New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms,” according to the National Weather Service.

Tuesday night will have a 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. East southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.

The rain will continue on Wednesday with a high near 78. Light north northeast wind becoming east 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

Thursday and Friday are much of the same with a 30 percent chance of rain. Highs near 79 degrees, lows near 63.

The weekend outlook looks good as the rain will be moving out of the area. But the highs will be around 72 degrees. Thursday and Friday will be our warm days.
