SEBASTIAN, Florida – The same man who pulled his pants down at a senior living facility in Vero Beach is back behind bars after another incident involving alcohol, according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.

Jeremy Michael Avant, 37, who was just arrested last week in Vero Beach, was charged again for Disorderly Intoxication.

On Wednesday, Jan. 3, deputies were called by employees at the Bealls department store located at 5900 20th Street in reference to a subject bothering customers, the report said.

The store manager said Avant was harassing customers, staff, and urinating outside near the store, according to the arrest affidavit. He appeared to be very intoxicated.

Deputies made contact with Avant, who became uncooperative, and slurred his words when he spoke, the arrest affidavit said.

“The defendant became upset and then stood up from a seated position, and bowed up in front of me and began cussing, talking loud, and making a scene as customers walked into Bealls,” the deputy said.

Avant was arrested and transported to the Indian River County Jail. According to jail records, Avant was sentenced on Thursday, Jan. 4, to 20 days in jail and is expected to be released again on Friday, Jan. 19.

Last April, Avant was arrested after he was intoxicated at the AMC theater and making ‘Cat Calls’ to teenage girls while in the theater.
