SEBASTIAN, Florida – On Sunday, August 6th from 4 to 7 p.m., the Sebastian Elks Lodge will open their doors to host a benefit for Wayne Snow.
The Sebastian Elks is asking his family, friends, and the general public to come to the lodge for an afternoon of music, food, a Chinese auction, and raffles.
The music will be provided by “Papa” Pete, so be sure and bring your dancing shoes and a delicious spaghetti dinner will be available for $10.00.
Wayne Snow, a member of the Sebastian Elks Lodge, has some very serious medical issues.
Wayne was recently in Arizona to have a procedure done to address these issues. Arizona is only one of three places that do this procedure, so needless to say, Wayne is now racking up serious medical debts.
Wayne is very active in the Sebastian and Fellsmere communities. He coordinates the yearly Memorial Day picnic held at the Elks lodge as well as volunteering for many duties within the lodge.
Although he is heavily involved with the committee that plans and runs the annual Sebastian Clambake and the Shrimpfest in Fellsmere, his main focus is the children of the communities.
He works with the kids from Sebastian River High School, the football team, soccer teams and does all he can to help develop and educate the children.
Proceeds from the benefit will go to Wayne to assist in his medical bills.
The Sebastian Elks Lodge is located at 731 S Fleming Street, across from the Strike Zone bowling alley.
