ROSELAND, Florida – The historic neighborhood of Roseland is celebrating its 125th anniversary by hosting a festive event on Sat. February 18.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to provide continuing education scholarships to students who live in Roseland, as well as other projects that preserve the small-town ambiance of the northern Indian River County community.
The admission fee is $10 for adults and $5 for children and includes a full lunch of BBQ with all the fixings, coleslaw, drink, and dessert. Music provided by Atlantic Blue Grass Band will add to the festivities. Guests are welcome to take a spin to the music with their dance partner or just tap their toe to the beat.
The event runs from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm with food and music starting at noon. It is held at the Roseland Volunteer Firehouse at 8025 129th Court off Roseland Road between U.S. Highway 1 and CR 512, west of the RR tracks.
Local arts and craft artists will have their items on display. Any additional artists wishing to participate should contact the number below. The popular Roseland bakers’ Bake Sale means you can purchase homemade goodies at very reasonable prices.
For additional information on the event, contact Terry Cadle at (772) 646-5900.
