Sebastian and Vero Beach Halloween Events

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Florida – Here are some of the fun-filled Halloween events taking place in Sebastian and Vero Beach. The local events are sorted by date.

Countryside Corn Maze
Date: October 22 & 23; October 29 & 30, 2016 | 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Countryside Citrus: 6325 81st Street, Vero Beach
Cost: $10 plus tax (3 and under free)
This year’s theme is Charlie Brown’s The Great Pumpkin. In addition to their 7-acre corn maze, Countryside Citrus will have family-friendly activities including a pumpkin patch, corn cannon, natural trail, kiddie train rides, and much more. There will also be food and beverages.

Cost: $10 plus tax (3 and under free) Bring your own flashlight.

Teen Zombie Walk & Party
Date: Tuesday, October 25th, 2016 | 6:00 PM-7:30 PM
Location: North Indian River Library 1001 Sebastian Blvd., Sebastian
Come enjoy Zombie-themed crafts, games, snacks and an invasion of the neighborhood. Prizes will be given out for the most creative Zombies. You’re encouraged to come dressed/made-up and ready to wreak havoc on the humans. However, some make-up will be available.

More Kooky-Than-Spooky Halloween Magic Show
Date: October 26, 2016 | 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Location: Brackett Library 6155 College Lane, Vero Beach
Fun for all ages! Non-scary family fun! Everyone is welcome to this magical and hilarious Halloween themed show. Costumes are encouraged!

GFWC Sebastian River Junior Woman’s Club Haunted House
Date: October 26-31, 2016 | Open at 7:30 PM
Location: 1036 Main Street, Sebastian
Cost: $8 per person: Cash Only (no children’s prices)
Not suggested for small children.
Bring a nonperishable item in exchange for $1 off
$1 per ticket will be donated to the North County Food Bank.

City of Vero Beach Recreation Department’s
58th Annual Halloween Parade & Costume Contest
Date: Saturday, October 29, 2016 | 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Location: Begins at Vero Beach Women’s Club & heads north on 14th Ave. through downtown to the Vero Beach Community Center
All Children receive a free goody bag at the Community Center at the conclusion of the Parade. Candy will not be thrown out during parade.
Prizes for best costume ages 0-17.

Environmental Learning Center’s “Half-Haunted Halloween”
Date: October 28th, 2016 | 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: ELC 255 Live Oak Drive, Wabasso Island, Vero Beach
Cost: $5 for Adults and Children 12 & over, and free for children under 12 & ELC Members.
The ELC’s Education Staff has cooked up a not-so-spooky stew of nighttime nature activities. Costumes are optional. Live music by Heart of Oak.

Environmental Learning Center: Canoe – Half-Haunted Halloween
Date: October 28, 2016 | 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: ENC 255 Live Oak Drive Wabasso Island, Vero Beach
Canoe through mangrove tunnels, “Nature Nightmares’, spooky sounds, Nature Crafts & More. Free with paid admission.

Vero Christian Church Trunk or Treat Night of Family Fun
Date: October 29, 2016 | 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: Vero Christian Church – 3250 Oslo Road, Vero Beach
They will have games, food, crafts, face painting, and candy. There will also be random drawings throughout the night for various prizes including a Free Character Breakfast for a family of four at the Vero Beach Disney Resort.

Spooktacular Pet Adoption Event
Date: October 29, 2016 | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Location: Village Pet Shop and Inn
968 12th St, Vero Beach
Pet adoptions, doggie costume contest 2 p.m., trick or treats for pets and their people, Free nail trims for the first 5 dogs, silent auction and in store discounts on pet supplies.
