
ORLANDO – An Orlando pool hall shooting left one man dead and six others injured. Police are still investigating the early Saturday morning shooting in Orlando in what investigators say was a drive-by.
Patrons, of the Chill Games Room pool hall located on Columbia Street, were exiting the establishment around 3:30 a.m. when shots came out of nowhere.
Dwayne Antoine Stuart, 37, a father of five died, and six others were injured. Stuart, a construction worker, was at the pool hall with his brother, nephew, and friends.
Five people were seriously injured, and received treatment at the Orlando Regional Medical Center, two have been released, three are in stable condition, and another critically wounded underwent surgery.
A man who works at the pool hall, whose brother was injured, said that he heard 20 to 30 shots fired and saw people screaming and running.
While investigating the scene, detectives closed all lanes of Columbia Street from Bruton Boulevard to Mable Butler Avenue, which was a third of a mile.
