PINELLAS COUNTY, Florida – A Florida man pulled out his glass eye and threw it at a doctor and nurse while in a hospital in Key Largo.

Edward Michael Dorsey, 54, was arrested on a domestic battery charge that may have been influenced by drugs and alcohol.

Police took him to the hospital to be evaluated where he hurled his “glasshole” to staff.

It all went down when Dorsey was about to be discharged and taken to the Pinellas County Jail for booking.

That’s when he took out his glass eye and threatened to throw it. Hospital staff and a police officer asked him not to.

Dorsey ignored those commands said, “I can do whatever I feel like doing,” according to the police report.

He then allegedly threw the glass eye at the hospital staff.

Officers tacked on a charge of battery on an emergency medical care provider.
