As most people may already know, Florida has suspended alcohol consumption at bars throughout the state effective immediately for 30 days.

The number of cases Thursday in Florida climbed to nearly 9,000.

We will talk more about this and the suspensions of alcohol sales during the Sebastian Daily Newscast this afternoon.

Please wear a mask when in stores, wash your hands regularly, and practice social distancing in Sebastian, Florida.

Cleveland Clinic, Indian River Hospital, is providing drive-through testing by appointments from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. To make an appointment, call the hospital at 772-226-4846.

For now, if you are 65 or older, or have an illness or chronic condition, please stay home. Please wear a mask if you are ill or have a health condition.
