VERO BEACH, Florida – Easter is this weekend, and there are a lot of egg hunts and events going on in Vero Beach.

Here are some of the things going on in Indian River County.

God of Calvary Easter Week Musical: A new Easter-themed musical event that starts at 7:00 p.m. Good Friday. It’s at King’s Baptist Church, 3235 58th Ave., Vero Beach. Call: 772-567-5850.

Family Easter EGG-Stravaganza: From 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 15. Hosted by the First United Methodist Church Vero Beach, 1750 20th St., Vero Beach. Ages: Infant to 10 years old. Call: 772-562-1900.

Easter Sunrise Service: Sponsored by First Baptist Church of Wabasso. 7:00 a.m. Sunday, April 16. It will be located on the south side of the 510 Causeway, 4720 86th St., Wabasso. Call 772-589-5256 for details.

30th annual Community Sunrise Service: 7:00 a.m. Sunday, April 16. Jaycee Beach Park, 4400 North A1A in Vero Beach, 2 miles north of Beachland Boulevard. They ask everyone to bring a blanket or lawn chair and to dress comfortably for the weather. Call: 772-562-3185.

Sunrise Service on the Labyrinth: 7:00 a.m. Sunday, April 16. Hosted by the Unity Spiritual Center of Vero Beach, 950 43rd Ave., Vero Beach. For more info, call 772-562-1133.

Easter Skating: Skate rental $3. 1-4 p.m. Sunday, April 16. Skate Factory, 485 27th Ave. Southwest, Vero Beach. This is a great activity for the whole family. For info, call 772-794-3373.
