VERO BEACH – A 24-year-old man was arrested in Vero Beach after he kicked his girlfriend in the face for not giving him a “sexual favor,” the report said.
Deputies from the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office made contact with Christopher Lewis at his Vero Beach home. He claimed that nothing happened and that he had just gotten home and “was trying to sleep.”
While Lewis was explaining that there was no reason for the deputies to be at his residence, he told them, “just let her come in here and pleasure me,” according to the report.
The victim explained that earlier in the day the two had been at Burger King. Lewis became angry with her and struck her in the face. The two returned home.
At home, Lewis demanded that she “suck his di**” and kicked her in the face when she refused. Deputies observed red marks on the victim’s face and neck.
As Lewis was detained, he kicked one of the deputies in the neck.
Lewis was arrested and transported to the Indian River County Jail where he was charged with battery domestic violence and felony battery on a law enforcement officer. Bond set at $16,000.
