SEBASTIAN – An 18-year-old female and her 22-year-old male accomplice were caught stealing tampons, a cell phone, BB pistol, and other items at the Walmart in Sebastian.

The Sebastian Police Department responded to the shoplifting report at Walmart where they spotted the two suspects.

Anastasia Tucker and Jonathan Patrick Fastiggi were detained in the parking lot.

Fastiggi said he and his girlfriend went to the store so she could get some female products and a cell phone. He said they didn’t have any money and had no intention of paying for the items.

The male suspect said the two selected a BB gun and several C02 cartridges and BB’s “so they could sell them for money,” according to the report. Fastiggi played down his involvement and said he was just present while his girlfriend removed the items and concealed them in her purse.

Anastasia told officers the same story, that they stole tampons and the cell phone, and were going to sell the BB gun and cartridges for money.

The items stolen were:

  • Tampax Tampons
  • Samsung Cell Phone
  • BB Pistol
  • Purple Scissors
  • BB’s
  • 40- C02 cartridges

Walmart’s total loss for this incident totaled $191.74.

Anastasia and Fastiggi were arrested and transported to the Indian River County Jail where they were charged with shoplifting.
