Sebastian Woman Arrested On Warrant After Making Suicide Threats

SEBASTIAN – The Sebastian Police Department arrested a woman on an active warrant after receiving a call that she was making suicide threats at a residence on Wimbrow Drive.

Katrina Mays, 46, had made threats of suicide that prompted police. When officers arrived, they realized Mays had an active warrant out of Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

The warrant was for the following charges:

  • Felony Battery on Law Enforcement Officer
  • Misdemeanor Resist Arrest Without Violence
  • Felony Resist Arrest With Violence

Once officers received confirmation that Mays was to be extradited, she was placed under arrested and transported to the Indian River County Jail. Bond was set at $10,000.
