SEBASTIAN – A 35-year-old man was arrested a second time this month after violating a protection order in regards to a domestic violence case in Sebastian.

Chad William Pickard, of Sebastian, allegedly wrote several emails to the female victim on Friday and Sunday, according to the report.

The Sebastian Police Department responded to the victim’s home and observed five emails allegedly sent from Pickard.

Some of the emails were titled “with all my heart” and appear to be personal in nature. In one of the emails, the author states “… how we got HERE. Cops, jail, court, hate…” while another one read “… You know I’m taking a huge risk by writing you,” the report said.

“Multiple times in these emails, the author references personal moments that only [the victim] and the defendant would have knowledge of,” the officer said.

The officer confirmed that an active order of protection is currently in place, which Pickard violated.

Pickard was arrested and transported to the Indian River County Jail.

Earlier this month, Pickard was also arrested for violating the same protection order.
