VERO BEACH – Police said a bar patron was trying to leave Stix Billiards in Vero Beach early Sunday at approximately 1:00 a.m. when he found a naked woman in his vehicle.
The vehicle owner said he was trying to leave and “did not know who the woman was and did not want her in the vehicle,” according to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman, identified as 33-year-old Kristina Phyliss Ronshaugen, began to cause a public disturbance that resulted in bar customers walking outside to observe what was going on, according to the report.
At first, Ronshaugen gave deputies a false name, but her real identity was later confirmed using a mugshot database of previous arrests, the report said.
“I didn’t do anything wrong,” Ronshaugen told deputies.
Ronshaugen was arrested for Disorderly Intoxication, Trespassing, Giving a False Name, and Resisting Arrest. She was released Sunday afternoon after posting $2,000 bond.
According to jail records, Ronshaugen has been arrested 9 times for various charges that include Disorderly Intoxication, DUI, Battery, Probation Violation, Theft, Possessing a Control Substance with a Prescription, and Battery Domestic Violence.
