VERO BEACH – The Vero Beach Police Department received a call from Waldo’s Restaurant at the Driftwood about a man urinating at the bar in front of other patrons.

Officers arrived and found Kyle Zoll, 22, belligerent with management and restaurant employees. The subject also took a swing at them before removing some of his clothes.

Zoll had left the bar area and was running in his underwear along the beach. Officers detained Zoll and started questioning him about the incident, but he wouldn’t provide any information.

The bar staff said that Zoll was urinating off the back deck of the Vero Beach bar in front of other patrons. He was with two other people who appeared to be extremely intoxicated.

When officers questioned the other two people, they didn’t see any problem in what Zoll did. They didn’t understand what he did wrong.

The manager said Zoll managed to open two tabs totaling $409.86.

Zoll was arrested and transported to the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office where he was charged with disorderly intoxication.
