Letters to the Editor: Residents ask why we can’t all get along, and Dr. Chris

Letters to the Editor

Letters to the Editor for Tuesday, September 28, 2021.

Why is it we can’t all get a long?

This City has been torn apart, and it seems to be getting worst. Yes, I believe in our freedom, freedom of speech, and no, I don’t want to lose our rights. But people, this is our City, and some are forgetting that.

So many people are attacking individuals, our candidates, because they didn’t go to the forum at the Church, or they did go to the forum, attacking the news media, national level, and even our local level.

Haven’t we had enough of the hate in this town? Right now, everyone thinks they know what is right for this City, and in my eyes, we are destroying it with mud-slinging and misinformation without checking facts.

If everyone were perfect, this world would be great, so why don’t we try and reach for that instead.

Something someone said: LET’S MAKE AMERICA GREAT, well I say, LET’S MAKE SEBASTIAN GREAT!

This is my opinion, and I don’t want to debate this and don’t want nasty remarks. This is how I feel.

Dr. Chris in Sebastian

Hi, my name is Natalie, and I live in Indian River County, and I wanted to write Sebastian Daily about a doctor that is changing lives every day. So I went to a nurse practitioner known as “Dr. Chris” in Sebastian at Rivers Edge Urgent Care.

I was extremely sick and thought, what is going on? I couldn’t breathe. After she walked in the room, she jumped on board with medications, injections with such compassion that I have never seen a doctor or nurse practitioner have for their patients.

She kept in touch with me as I shortly tested positive for Covid. She saw me again a couple of weeks later, following up with IV therapy that has helped me tremendously get back to my household duties and live a normal life with my four children.

I am forever grateful for her compassion with me as a patient, but her compassion for the entire community through the up in numbers with Covid.

She understands; she has a huge heart to help her entire community. So it would be wrong of me not to have something written about “Dr. Chris” and her practice.

She saved my life, and I will never forget her and her wonderful staff. As I have found my forever primary and urgent care nurse practitioner.

Thank you for allowing me to write about her and her practice.

Sincerely,

Natalie Torok-Camilo
